In The Morning: Cu Chi Tunnels
8.30 am. Depart from your hotel or our office to Cu Chi Tunnels – Ho Chi Minh city tour 1 day.
The first is the network of subterranean tunnels known as the Cu Chi Tunnels, which were built by Vietnamese fighters during their fight for independence. This underground city, complete with living quarters, kitchens, hospitals, weapon manufacturing, storage facilities, and a command center, was constructed over the course of roughly 25 years.
We watch a brief introduction movie that explains the tunnels’ construction before heading underground.
After that, we explore the network of tunnels for an hour. A variety of mantraps, the wreckage of an American tank, and multiple bomb craters created by 500-pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers are also on exhibit.
Have lunch at the restaurant, then we drive back to Ho Chi Minh City arriving at approximately 14.00pm.
In The Afternoon: Visit Ho Chi Minh City
The French constructed the Notre Dame Cathedral, which stands in the center of the city, in the late 1870s. In addition to being Vietnam’s oldest Christian church, Notre Dame is a remarkable and exceptional example of Saigon architecture.
Gustav Eiffel’s General Post Office serves as a reminder of the French influence in the late 1800s. This imposing structure has the appearance and atmosphere of a classy train station.
You’ll be transported to the Reunification Palace, which was the President of the Republic of Vietnam’s former home. The world knew that the Vietnam War was over on April 30, 1975, when a North Vietnamese soldier entered this structure waving a red flag.
You’ll have about two hours to explore Ben Thanh Market, one of the busiest and most cosmopolitan districts of Ho Chi Minh City, which is stocked with every consumable good imaginable. You can also visit a lacquer workshop to witness the painstaking craftsmanship and intricate procedures that go into making this traditional Vietnamese craft item.
