Return by car to the city center, where you can carry on with your sightseeing. See the Temple of Literature– Vietnam’s first university. The gardens and beautifully preserved building, which dates back to the 11th century, provide a calming look into Vietnam’s history.
After that, take a leisurely cyclo tour through the Hanoi Old Quarter, which is ideal for leisurely sightseeing and taking pictures. As your driver maneuvers through the congested streets, avoiding speeding motorcycles and passing by the historic streets, you can kick back and unwind.

We had a nice journey to Sapa after leaving Hanoi early in the morning.
We arrived in Sapa town early in the afternoon, went into our hotel, and rested well.
We take a little journey to see the stunning Silver Waterfall later this afternoon. In addition, we pay a visit to the church while exploring this charming little town.
We will eat an early dinner of regional specialties before returning to the hotel.

Following a hearty breakfast, we embark on a brief journey to our starting point for the trek. Descending into the valley along narrow trails that meander amidst the terraced fields, our first stop is Y Linh Ho hamlet, a quaint settlement inhabited by the Black H’mong community.
Continuing our journey along the meandering riverbank, we arrive at Lao Chai village, another enclave of the Black H’mong, where we’re warmly welcomed into the home of a local family. Here, amidst houses crafted to withstand the harsh winter chill, we engage in the age-old tradition of crafting vibrant sticky rice, guided by the ebullient hosts.
Amidst the camaraderie of communal cooking, we learn the art of deriving natural hues from flowers and leaves to dye the rice, culminating in a delectable lunch savored amidst the idyllic backdrop of mountains and terraced fields.
Say goodbye to our kind hosts and continue on our journey to Ta Van village, nestled in the picturesque expanse of the Muong Hoa valley and inhabited by the Tay people. Originating from China, the Tay are distinguished by their modest yet vibrant attire, featuring brightly colored bands adorning their necks and lapels.
As we traverse the undulating terrain, capturing the timeless beauty of endless rice fields and the industrious life of the hill tribe villages, our driver awaits to escort us back to the comforts of our hotel.

Additionally, we had the opportunity to visit My Trach village renowned for its craftsmanship in making traditional rush mats, offering a fascinating glimpse into the local livelihoods.

This morning, we made our way to the harbor and boarded a boat. Our first destination was Hon Tam Island, where we spent time swimming and snorkeling. From there, we proceeded to Mieu Island, where we experienced a ride in a traditional basket boat and learned about the lives of local fishermen in a nearby village.
We also paused for a photo opportunity at the Tri Nguyen aquarium. Following these adventures, we indulged in a delectable seafood lunch. Afterward, we took some time to relax before returning to the hotel.
We then enjoyed leisure activities and stayed overnight in Nha Trang.

Our first stop is at a local family’s workshop, where they skillfully craft coconut leaf swabs. Here, we are warmly welcomed by our hosts and provided with fascinating insights into the traditional techniques used in swab-making. Engaging in hands-on activities, we immerse ourselves in the process and enjoy memorable experiences.
Continuing our adventure, we hop on bicycles and traverse the serene rural roads, passing through charming villages adorned with friendly faces and picturesque scenery. As we exchange greetings with the locals and absorb the peaceful ambiance of rural life, we feel a sense of tranquility enveloping us.
Next, we embark on a leisurely rowboat ride along the intricate network of canals, allowing us to unwind while observing the unhurried pace of life in the Mekong Delta.
A short walk brings us to the home of Mr. Ba and his family, where we are greeted with heartfelt warmth. Here, amidst shared laughter and conversations, we indulge in local snacks and delve into discussions about their daily lives, cultural traditions, and customs.
For lunch, we are treated to a feast of Mekong specialties at a nearby restaurant, where we can relax and savor the peaceful ambiance before we head back to the pier. Our driver awaits to escort us back to Ho Chi Minh City.
