Take your time and enjoy your morning. At lunchtime, we check out of our hotel and prepare to head north to Hue City.
We take images of this vibrant city as we journey down one of Vietnam’s most picturesque highways, stopping along the way at places like Mable Mountains, Da Nang Beach (formerly called China Beach during the Vietnam War), and the Han River bank. We travel across Hai Van Pass, which offers an amazing vista.
After arriving in Hue, check into our hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight in Hue.
After eating breakfast at the hotel, we travel to Hue Imperial City, sometimes referred to as Hue Capital. Constructed in 1802 by King Gia Long, the first of the last feudal dynasty in Vietnam. Visit the imposing Thien Mu Pagoda, one of Hue’s most well-known sites, after that. Proceed with your drive to Tu Duc’s tomb, often known as the “poet Emperor,” which is situated in a graceful park with an impressive lake and pavilion complex.
