12:00 PM: Stop at a local restaurant in Tuyen Quang for lunch.

1:30 PM: Continue the journey to Ha Giang. Upon arrival, check in homestay at Thon Tha Village, a unique village featuring traditional stilt houses of the Tay ethnic group nestled in the heart of lush greenery.

3:00 PM: Embark on a walking tour to explore Thon Tha Village. Immerse yourself in the serene lifestyle of the locals as the guide shares fascinating stories about the Tay people’s culture and customs. Don’t forget to capture the scenic beauty of the village, with its charming stilt houses, sprawling rice fields, and gentle streams weaving through the valley.

5:00 PM: Return to the homestay for some rest and relaxation in the tranquil surroundings.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will check out and set off for Dong Van Plateau, a journey filled with breathtaking landscapes.

Our first stop will be at Quan Ba Heaven Gate, where you can marvel at the majestic view of the mountainous region. Don’t miss the opportunity to capture stunning photos of the iconic Twin Mountain, a natural masterpiece with its mysterious and unique charm.

We’ll have lunch in Yen Minh town.

Afternoon

The journey continues as we visit Sa Phin Village to explore the historic H’mong King Palace, a remarkable architectural work that showcases the legacy and cultural heritage of the H’mong people.

Afterward, we’ll head to Lung Cu Flagpole, the northernmost point of Vietnam, where you can admire the expansive fields and stunning mountain ranges marking the country’s border.

We’ll then proceed to Dong Van town, where you’ll have free time to wander around the charming Dong Van Old Quarter. Stroll through ancient streets, admire the traditional architecture, try some local street food, or shop for unique souvenirs.

Next, you will check in at your hotel and take some time to rest after a day full of exploration.

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, the group will check out and head to Dong Van Market, one of the most famous markets in the rocky highlands. This is an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in the bustling atmosphere and vibrant cultural colors of the local ethnic minorities.

Continuing the journey, the group will conquer the iconic Ma Pi Leng Pass, known as the “king of mountain passes in Vietnam.” Here, you will marvel at the breathtaking scenery of the Nho Que River, a jade-green ribbon winding at the foot of towering cliffs. This stop promises to provide unforgettable photos and memories.

Have lunch at the restaurant.

Following lunch, the journey continues toward Cao Bang Province. Along the way, you’ll enjoy the stunning views of winding roads surrounded by majestic mountains and the serene beauty of the Northeast region.

Upon arrival, the group will check in at a local homestay, offering a warm, inviting space with traditional architecture reflecting the culture of the region. This is your time to relax, unwind, and explore the surroundings of the homestay to gain insight into the daily life of the locals.

Overnight at Cao Bang

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Ban Gioc Waterfall, one of the most breathtaking natural waterfalls in Vietnam. The journey takes over 2 hours, passing through scenic routes where you can admire the majestic mountains and tranquil villages of the Northeast region.

Upon arrival, Ban Gioc Waterfall unfolds like a magnificent natural painting. Cascading waters from over 30 meters high create a dreamy mist, often adorned with rainbows under the sunlight. This is a perfect spot for stunning photos and an unforgettable experience.

After sightseeing, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, the journey continues to Nguom Ngao Cave, one of the most beautiful caves in Vietnam. Tucked deep inside the mountains, the cave is adorned with shimmering stalactites that create a surreal landscape. A guide will share fascinating stories and the history of the cave’s formation, offering insights into its natural significance.

The pathways inside the cave are designed for easy exploration, allowing you to comfortably discover every corner. The diverse formations of stalactites will leave you in awe of nature’s wonders.

After concluding the exploration of Nguom Ngao Cave, return to the hotel.

Upon arrival, the group will stop for lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, you’ll proceed to check-in at a homestay located near Ba Be Lake, offering a comfortable and peaceful atmosphere close to nature.

The afternoon will be spent exploring Ba Be Lake, a natural gem nestled among the mountains of Northern Vietnam. You’ll have the opportunity to take a boat ride along the lake, admiring the crystal-clear water reflecting the sky and surrounding mountains.

After a relaxing morning, you will proceed with the checkout process at the hotel. The staff will assist you with the final steps to ensure a smooth and comfortable departure. From here, you will begin your journey back to Hanoi.

The journey will take approximately 6 hours, giving you the chance to enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way, relax, and rest during the trip. It’s also a great time to reflect on the wonderful memories created throughout the journey.
