Itinerary

Morning

Upon your arrival at Noi Bai Airport, our driver and guide will warmly welcome you and assist you with the transfer to Hanoi city center. The journey takes about 45 minutes, allowing you to catch your first glimpse of the vibrant streets of Vietnam’s capital.

The first stop will be at a renowned local restaurant, where you can enjoy authentic Vietnamese dishes, recharging your energy after a long flight.

After lunch, you will head to your hotel for check-in and a short rest.

Afternoon

Your exploration of Hanoi begins in earnest in the afternoon.

The first destination is the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the final resting place of Vietnam’s beloved leader. This solemn and serene site offers insights into the life and legacy of Ho Chi Minh.

The final highlight of the afternoon is a visit to the famous Hanoi Train Street. After the tour, you’ll return to your hotel to relax and freshen up for the evening.

Evening

At 9:00 PM: The transfer will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Hanoi Train Station. Here, you’ll board an overnight train bound for Sapa. The train offers a comfortable setting for you to unwind and get some rest, preparing for the next day’s adventure.

By 6:00 AM: The following morning, you’ll arrive at Lao Cai Station.

Note: The first day’s itinerary may be adjusted depending on your flight arrival time in Hanoi.

6:00 AM: A car and guide will pick you up at Lao Cai Station, marking the start of your adventure with breakfast at a local restaurant. Savor the unique mountain dishes to energize your day.

After breakfast, the group will travel approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes to reach Bac Ha Market, one of the largest and most renowned markets in the Northwest. Bac Ha Market is not just a trading hub but a vibrant tapestry of culture and daily life for ethnic minorities such as the H’Mong, Tay, and Dao. Here, you’ll marvel at colorful stalls offering handmade textiles, fresh produce, local specialties, and even livestock. The lively atmosphere, cheerful conversations, and traditional costumes are sure to leave a lasting impression.

Next, the tour proceeds to the Hoang A Tuong Palace, located just 1 km from Bac Ha Market. This unique architectural structure, built in the 1920s, blends Eastern and Western styles. Once the residence of the “H’mong King,” Hoang A Tuong, the palace showcases the wealth and influence of the family during its time. Today, it serves as a fascinating site to explore the history and culture of Bac Ha.

After visiting the palace, the group continues to Ban Pho Village, famous for its traditional corn wine-making. Here, you will learn about the meticulous process of brewing corn wine—a specialty of the H’mong people. The village offers a unique cultural experience and the opportunity to sample this distinctive beverage.

12:00 PM: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, the group heads to Trung Do Village, a serene and ancient settlement of the Tay ethnic group. Here, you’ll discover traditional customs, explore old stilt houses, and admire the breathtaking terraced fields. A highlight of the visit is a leisurely boat ride on the Chay River, offering a peaceful experience amidst picturesque natural surroundings.

Following the village visit, the group returns to Sapa Town for hotel check-in and some well-deserved rest.

In the evening, you’ll have free time to explore and enjoy the Sapa Night Market, bustling with handcrafted goods, local specialties, and a variety of street food. Don’t miss the opportunity to try hot dishes like grilled skewers, roasted corn, or bamboo rice, and shop for unique souvenirs to take home.

Overnight in Sapa Town

Morning

After breakfast at the hotel, your friendly guide will pick you up and begin the trekking journey to explore the stunning Muong Hoa Valley. You will walk along winding trails, immersed in the peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking scenery.

The first stop on the journey is Y Linh Ho Village, a small village nestled in the valley, where you can admire the traditional homes of the H’Mong people and learn about the unique lifestyles and customs of the local community. This is a great opportunity to interact with the locals and gain insights into their culture.

After visiting Y Linh Ho, we will continue our trek to Ta Phin Village, known for its lush green rice fields and picturesque terraced rice paddies. This village is home to the Dao Red people, known for their traditional clothing and distinctive cultural practices. Here, you will enjoy a delicious lunch featuring local specialties, showcasing the rich flavors of the region.

Afternoon

After lunch, we will continue our journey through bamboo forests to reach Giang Ta Chai, a village nestled within lush greenery. Giang Ta Chai offers a pristine, wild beauty with clear streams and magnificent landscapes. It’s the perfect place to relax and immerse yourself in nature’s serenity.

Finally, we will board the bus and return to the hotel to rest and unwind after a long day of exploration.

After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will pick you up and take you on a journey to explore the pristine beauty of Sapa. The first stop will be Cat Cat Village, a traditional H’mong village nestled on the mountainside.

Here, you’ll witness stunning landscapes, charming stilt houses, and the simple life of the local ethnic people. This is a great opportunity to learn about their culture and customs and enjoy the fresh, peaceful atmosphere of the region.

After the visit, the group will return to Sapa town for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, where you can savor the area’s special dishes.

Afternoon

In the afternoon, the adventure continues as we head towards the Hoang Lien Cable Car Station, located at an altitude of 1,650 m above sea level. From here, you’ll embark on the cable car journey to conquer Fansipan, the highest peak in Indochina.

After about 20 minutes on the cable car, you’ll arrive at Fansipan Station. From this point, you’ll continue your ascent by climbing an additional 600 steps to reach the peak. You also have the option to purchase a separate cable car ticket (150,000 VND per passenger/way) to take you all the way up.

This final leg of the journey takes approximately 30 minutes and will bring you to the top of Fansipan at an altitude of 3,143 m. Here, you’ll be able to take in breathtaking panoramic views of the Hoang Lien mountain range and experience the powerful allure of the highest point in Indochina.

After enjoying the mesmerizing views and moments at the top of Fansipan, the group will travel to Lao Cai Station to board the train back to Hanoi. You will spend the night on the train, bringing your exciting journey to a close with cherished memories of Sapa.
